2

i) After a long time our class is not going for (P.E) because of a bunch of troublesome boys drumming and shouting. So we are requesting the children to stop drum and shot throughout the week and we are requesting Mr. Liaqut (H.O.S) to forgive us because it may be the last time for playing P.E in this school so please let us enjoy our days.

ii) For a couple of weeks our parents have  received an E-mail that the school is going to close in -2014- so many students of our school have made thing in the school to help in (keep TWS).

The Hobbit week

0

Was the a couple weak before the exam. We read a few chapters from the book which proved that the movie will definitely be a knock out. I am one of the fans of the book written by J. R. R. Tolkien. In that weak we were asked to mainly read the story and write postcards, letters and creative master pieces. We even solved some hobbit based Math and Science. At the end of the week we had a meeting with Mr. Sherman giving him full feedback on what was done in class. Other classes had created large drawings and portraits of J. R. R. Tolkien drawings. It was a remarkable way of teaching lessons as it is easily comprehended to our minds.

It was rather 2 hours filled with amusement and fun. There was a group of drummers drumming their way through the crowd playing beats of tremendous harmony. Their where also shows made by the students of grade 8 classes showing a huge hidden talent in Al-Yola, which is the local dance of the U.A.E, but the two hours soon had ended and we were sent back to our classes and celebrated the rest of the day in our classes.

A trip to the Blue Mosque

0

The Islamic English boys went to a trip to the blue mosque. It was an once in a lifetime experience. As soon as we reached there the guide introduced the mosque to us. She told us how the mosque was built. It took 18 months for the architecture and it is also a copy of famous Turkish blue mosque. We saw a number of foreign tourists who had specially come from Germany to tour the mosque. It was an mind- blowing trip, not to be forgotten.

This day was called the       ” WoW” day in which the teachers gave us activities which got us using our heads and creating master pieces of writing about the hadith they have selected . We were divided into groups of around 6-7, proving the best from the best. We were given a chance to complete it at home which was mainly left for the artists of the class do their drawing peacefully at home. The next day when everything was submitted everyone was lavished with complements.
